SANDBLASTING TO REMOVE PCB PAINT

SANDBLASTING TO REMOVE PCB PAINT

One of our industrial customers had recently dismantled a building and testing revealed that some of the steel I beams that were taken out of the facility were covered with PCB paint. Dec-Tam erected a containment with engineering controls where the steel was cut into 10 to 12 foot sections and the paint was sandblasted from the structure. The I beams were then inspected by the customer's Industrial Hygienist and they were loaded into dumpsters to begin the recycling process. Check out the video of the project.
